Our classes are led by experienced math teachers who currently teach –or have taught–in real classrooms across the country, Monday through Friday. In fact, over 90% of our instructors hold Master's degrees in education.

Around the country, many school systems see a value in starting Algebra I, as a concentration, during the 8th grade. While this works for some students, it also can be very challenging for other students. At My Math Maven, LLC, students can deep dive into algebra I, in smaller class groups, while also strengthening basic 8th grade math standards as well, at a comfortable pace.

During the fall-winter-spring sessions, My Math Maven offers affordable math small-group instructional tutoring classes on Saturdays. 3rd-7th grade classes are 90 minutes in length. Algebra I classes are 2 hours in length and may consist of both 8th & 9th grade students.
During Summer Math Academy, classes take place for five weeks, Monday-Thursday (specific days vary by grade). Students in grades 3rd -7th receive 3 solid hours of math instruction per week. Algebra I (8th & 9th grade) students receive 4 solid hours per week. Classes are virtual (online) learning with a live My Math Maven math teacher, providing excellent instruction, using an interactive math platform where the teacher can see your child's work, and provide feedback, correction, and support in real time!
For less than $50 a week students receive more individualized small group instruction. During the fall-winter-spring sessions only, in addition to the 90-minute required Saturday school math class (2 hours for Algebra I), students also have access to optional free math support during our weekday, Touch-Base Tuesdays, math "office hours". While students are not required to log-on for Touch-Base Tuesdays, they are encouraged to check-in for brief math homework help, math clarification questions, specific skill/concept math practice, test prep, or practice with our provided math POD (Problem of the Day). All of this extra math support is included in our affordable comparable price, of less than $50 a week.
With My Math Maven, you "do not" get what you pay for, you actually get a whole lot more bang for your buck! Our classes consist of more than general tutoring.
